NO MORE EXTENSIONS!!!

Backup santas were contacted and are working on gifts for those of you who've received none so far.

So expect to get something very soon. I'm running through the list to see who did not contribute due to whatever reasons they may have. Hope everyone had fun! (and that those of you getting gifts will like what you get!) I hope to see you all next year, THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING~ :3 Especially those of you who worked so hard to make someone happy with a gift, that was the whole point of this club, for us as a community to come together and be kind. Of course I hope everyone made friends and such, but overall you were happy even though this group wasn't as well organized as it could have been.

Hur, the founder may not join us next year, but we'll see. XD I know someone wanted to help out next time, and they are more than welcomed to, I say.

ATTENTION: The following info was for those WE KNOW did not come to us with any excuses, nor did we see it on their pages. If people are going to complain when something was not directed at them, then we (or as it should be, I, the founder) APOLOGIZE for your misconception. /END

We understand that important things happen, and so we will have a 5-day extension, from today's date. Please direct any concerns through note and we'll be glad to answer.

We will be contacting those santas of whom did NOT keep up their end of the bargain yet. There are a couple of people who've run into serious problems, but the rest do not have any excuses. If they DO NOT keep up their end, and they've received a gift, they will be permanently banned from future activities. We do not care WHO they are, or who they think they are. When one is signing up for a gift exchange they are expected to hold their end of the deal. It's ridiculous to come here only to mooch off of people. We scanned galleries and people seemed sincere.. hopefully this remains true in the end and they may participate again next event. Those who do not give gifts but did not receive one of their own will also be banned, though it may or may not be permanently. Anyone not turning in a gift will NOT receive art from our backup santas.

Please, if anyone has time to dedicate, we'd appreciate more backup santas. We currently only have one santa to help out. Even if you aren't called upon, it is very convenient and sweet to have a caring person on hand, ready to give out of kindness with no expectations of having something in return, save for making someone happy~

You will be directed to your santa's page and may comment and fav it if you choose to do as such. Hello, and welcome to (yet another) Secret Santa deviant group.

There may be many of you(or, perhaps, only some of you?) who've seen other Secret Santa groups floating around DA. Some of those are exclusive only to manga-inspired artists, some are open to other 'less qualified' artists whom may or may not be interested in the same subject. But there are still people whom cannot join due to their rules (I am looking at writers and photographers).

The point of this group is to give and make someone happy, while appreciating the gift you receive. If you feel that this is for fools who only want free art, and you do not care to spread the love, that's ok. Just don't join and be on your merry way! This is for those who'd like to kindly give, and get something in return.

This Secret Santa group is open to artists of all types!

With that being said, please look at the RULES below:



1.) When joining, please be sure that you are open to recieving a gift that may be drawn, photographed, written, etc. We are not leaving out art of ANY KIND or SKILL.

2.) If you have an extreme bias(such as you who do not like anime-inspired art, or may not want writing) but you still want to join, please note us and we will see what we can do with your concern.

3.) Please put your heart into making a gift for another, even if it is just a detailed sketch, poem or whatever else it may be.

4.) DO NOT TELL/GIVE AWAY YOUR SECRET SANTA STATUS TO HE/SHE THAT IS TO RECIEVE YOUR GIFT. If possible, please do not let ANYONE know.

5.) Art thieves, trolls and moochers are not allowed. Your galleries will be screened before acceptance.



There is no limit to be seen so far with how many people may enter. We want to keep this organised though, so if the numbers become too much, we will be forced to cut off further applications.

MEMBERS! Please keep in mind....

You will make a journal and list what it is that you would like from your secret santa. Make sure you consider our writers, photographers, abstract artists, pixel artists and anime-inspired artists. You are encouraged to ask for something original, but FANART and FANFICTION are allowed to be asked for. So are interpretations of someone's character, or what nature or animals may mean to someone(if the person recieving a gift has an interest in nature or animals).

You don't know what or who you'll get. Isn't that fun? ;D

When you are done with your journal, please send a link to it in a note to me, titled " Wishlist " or " Journal "

Journal wishlists will be posted in a journal here in ForeverSecretSanta, for your Secret Santa to see.

Please get your wishlists in by December 2, 2007. All gifts will have a deadline to be done by the end of December 30th, 2007. Some extensions may be considered, as long as people are gauranteed holiday gifts.

If anyone would like to be a backup artist/writer in addition to whom they have, please let us know should someone have to back out. Your kindness would be VERY appreciated, but hopefully you won't need to be called on. Send a note titled " Backup Help ".
